Struggling to catch my breath

Hi, I'm really struggling to catch my breath. This happened in my last pregnancy at about 35 weeks then baby dropped and I was fine. Now I am only 25 weeks and am really uncomfortable today - does anyone know what might be causing it or what I can do to relieve it?
Thanks

It can be associated with anaemia - are your iron levels OK?

I got breathless and knackered in my second pregnancy in a way I hadn't on my first - it was partly low iron levels and partly fatigue, I think.

How's your iron? being low on iron can cause breathlessness, or it did in my pregnancy anyway!

Interesting- I am having this (33 weeks pg)- mine coincides with BH- they don't hurt, I just can't catch my breath. Any connexion?

Thanks - I'm seeing the midwife on wednesday so I will ask about my iron levels, I'm due blood tests soon too. I know I'm more tired as this is my third but the breathing isn't just when I'm rushing about - I'm struggling when I'm sitting in the evening doing nothing!!

Me too! I am 25 weeks and I get it even when sitting still. I feel like I can't get a breath, its horrible.

Oh i have this too but im only 11 weeks tomorrow, can it happen this early on. I thought it was because of the extra blood flow that im producing but now reading this i wonder if it could be something else.

I had bloods done on Tuesday so will see the results in a week or so.
