Does anybody know if you miscarry does the pregnancy test still come up positive if you haven't passed the material of if the baby is still inside you but didn't make it?

Its one of the things they look for following a mc to see if it has all cleared, so yes, I think so.

I had a m/c in march- pg test showed neg on the day m/c started- as they are based on hormones. Don't know if this is the case for all m/c though- and of course, some people m/c a twin, but the other foetus is healthy and develops normally.
Hope you are okay mamaof3.

I had a natural mc at 11+4 - was tested at a scan a couple of days later and told the levels were very low (and everything had gone)

A week later, I was still getting a positive on a Sainsburys test - took 3 weeks to get a BFN.

Fingers crossed for you

it can take a few weeks to get a BFN because the hormones tail off gradually - especially nowadays since tests are so sensitive.
