Morning sickness at 37 weeks??

Ive never really 'stopped' having morning sickness this pregnancy.

It slowed down almost completely at about 30 weeks, was maybe vomiting during the day once every 5 days or something,

but the last 3 days I've woken up feeling like I am 12 weeks pregnant.

Breakfast makes me feel ill, I feel weak, I can't walk far because of the naususness (sp?) and I bring my breakfast up

Anyone else had this? This pregnancy has been bloody awful

Hi Enchanted... Sorry to hear your having such a rough time. i too had AWFUL sickness (being sick 5-10 times a day until 20 weeks) now (33 weeks) i wake up feeling sick, but am generally OK once i've got some breakfast in me and if i eat little and often.

From what i've read, sickness throughout the pregnancy is perfectly normal. Everyones bodies and every pregnancy is different, so i wouldn't be too concerned, although trust me, i know JUST how miserable your feeling!!

Maybe go back to the tricks they suggest for early morning sickness, maybe having some dry toast, or toast and marmite or something IN bed before you get out, and something rEALLY plain after that like Weetabix, etc.

Lots of Sympathies to you.... i can't WAIT to no longer be pregnant either!! xx

ps, since your 37 weeks, i guess maybe another alternative is to start trying all the natural labour inducers? Spicy food, Sex, Castor Oil, Nipple Tweeking, i know thats my plan!!! xxx

Hi Enchanted,

Massive sympathies to you. I am only 23 weeks but am still feeling sick every day. Having to eat little and often, and it is worse after 5 pm, so rarely manage a normal dinner. I throw up once or twice a week at the moment.

I really hope the nausea goes away soon but I have heard some people are stuck with it the whole way through....It is miserable though and I can't wait to be nausea free and be able to eat what I want when I want.

On the plus side, you are so close to the end goal - so try to keep your chin up! x

i feel for you all. my dd is now 3 but i had severe morning sickness up till 32 weeks and i was hospitalised for 5 months on and off. i lost 4 stone in weight and i'm not having another baby i am pretrified it will happen again

it was awful and can't remember most of my pregnancy as i was out of it.

in the end i found that taking 50mg of the vitamin thiamin (think vit d) i was fine. don't ask me why but it worked and i managed a couple of weeks a work.

i have said this to two other women who were the same as me and it worked for them too.

xx

i am the same - 37 weeks and sick as a dog - even when i eat little and often. cream crackers, all butter shortbread and diet coke seem to be the best things for me to graze on all day! not particularly nutritious but hey ho!
