Lack of appetite during pregnancy

I wondered if anyone else feels this way? Am now 27 weeks pregnant and just don't feel like eating anything. Obviously I do eat but it feels like such a chore. If you told me I could eat anything in the world and it would be cooked for me - no idea what to choose. Food has just become so boring.

OMG....SNAP.

Seriously went off my food at about 25 weeks. Nothing to do with morning sickness as didnt suffer with that, but just have no interest in eating.
I am now 33 weeks, and still go hours and hours without eating, and to be honest I dont even drink that much either. Just have no interest in food.

I dont think it is anything to worry about, the midwife said to try and eat little and often.

Try just eating little and often (something easy and nutritious) - its often the idea of having to make a meal that puts me off (now 29 weeks), though will find can manage some soup, a pitta bread and houmous and some fruit spread over an afternoon/evening.

I really struggled to eat when I was pg with my ds. For the first few months it was morning sickness and the last few months my stomach being squashed.

I just kept on popping the pregnacare and trying to eat stuff that had some sort of nutritional value as well as chocolate. You need to keep your energy up.

Ds didn't seem to suffer too much.

I'm so relieved to read these posts and realise I'm not the only one! I'm 30+5 and have been off food for a few weeks now - there's nothing I fancy, and I don't feel hungry. Had terrible heartburn though.

It's odd because for the first 28 weeks I was living overseas, in a very poor African country where we had little food selection and had to be careful to get a balanced diet. I thought once I got back to the UK I'd be crazy for all these things I couldn't get out there - but not so!

Also have been disappointed not to have any cravings this pregnancy, and for the first time in my life be off chocolate too.

Does anyone actually calorie count to make sure they're getting the right amount per day (2200 for a pregnant woman I think?)
