I am 27 years old and this is my 4th pregnancy. I've never had any problems before and this is the first time experiencing it. I woke up yesterday and discovered some bleeding. i noticed it after i went to the bathroom. it is bright red with little clots. i called my doctor who doesn't see you till after your first trimester. they don't intervine until your in your second trimester. they told me to have lots of pelvic rest and drink lots of fluids. i asked if she thought it was a miscarriage and she said no. any advice if i should still worry or similar experinces? i don't have an appointment for another 2 weeks. should i see someone else?

Its not up to your Dr, you can self refer to early pregnancy unit.
Have you got any pain?

Go to A&E and they will book you in for a scan, your gp is wrong, i had bleeding at 8 and 11 weeks and managed to get a scan (one by going to a&e, the other through my gp). I had bleeding all the way through (on and off) with dd2 due to cervix erosion.

no just very light bleeding with a couple of small clots very tiny

A&E is a good idea.
I know that our epau is closed at weekend so your best bet is A&E for a scan.

Gp was useless for me. Go to your epu and they'll do a scan. (I had a scan first thing on a Saturday morning.)
FWIW I'm still pg - so good luck, it doesn't have to mean the worst. I was totally convinced it was all over (had cramping too) and was gutted because I was also 11 weeks and had begun to imagine how life would be.

If you're Rh negative you should be seeing someone now for an anti D shot.
