Im 10wks - and have been having the most horrid nausea, tiredness and sore breast..however since the weekend (when a car journey was too much for the nausea) i have noticed that the nausea has near enough disappeared the tiredness is improving and my breasts arent as sensitive..... I rang the hospital and arranged for an early scn which i will have on weds as i had a previous mmc and am pretty anxious.. initally was looking forward to the scan but now am not lookingforward to it and was just wondering if any one else had had a similar experience

Hi appletiser, I wouldn't think that is necessarily any reason to worry. I had similar symptoms to you and mine also started to lift around 10 weeks, instead of feeling relivied I wasn't sick I worried about it instead, as like you had had a previous mmc. All was well though. A scan will set your mind at rest though so good that you can get it.

Good luck.

Symptoms can come and go. I'm just over 10 weeks and some days I am so nauseous I can't get out of bed and other days I feel fine.

Its good you're having an early scan. It will set your mind at ease.

Yes I did too, at practically the same stage. As my NHS scan wasn't until 15 weeks I also booked a private early scan, which gave me a lot of reassurance. It's so hard isn't it, when you feel rubbish you desperately want to feel better and then when you do, it just brings anxieties with it! Good luck for your scan

Appletiser i posted similar not long ago, im 19+5 weeks and at 10 weeks my symptoms had almost gone then after a week returned with vengence and have been doing so ever since every couple of weeks or so they go away for a few days then come back it seems to be quite common. I think its your body getting used to the hormones and then they have a little surge again!

Don't worry, I bet you'll feel awful again tomorrow! My sickness really came and went.

FruitynNutty · 29/11/2008 18:04

My symptoms disappeared after 10 weeks. I was relieved tbh as some people have MS all the way through

TeenyTinyTorya · 29/11/2008 22:50

My symptoms disappeared at 8 1/2 weeks, so I had an early scan and everything was fine. They have now come back with a vengeance - I think it's quite normal. An early scan will reassure you though.
