Is diarrhoea in very early pregnancy normal? Should I be worried?

Help!

I just got a BFP yesterday and today I am EXTREMELY bloated and have diarrhoea too. I am a bit worried as I feel pretty bad (I keep having bouts of nausea too). I had a similar thing with DS, however with DS it was ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) following IVF that caused the extreme bloating. It was so bad I was hospitalised for 3 nights.

This BFP was totally natural though (a miracle after being 'infertile' for >5 years!) but I'm worried that diarrhoea isn't a 'normal' pregnancy symptom and I have a bug or something. In which case could it affect babba????

Help!

I get this when pregnant too. In fact, I had it with this pregnancy and am now 16 weeks. I googled and it can be blamed on the hormones.

Relaaaaaaaaaaax!

even asked my mum last night as i was a wee bit worried!

i seem to go through a rolling phase of being a bit bunged up then having it all go at once!!! I am 7 weeks today.

I think your stomach can be a bit sensitive due to hormones. All I can say is avoid watercress soup!(you dont want to know)

Totally normal - I had this from wk3 to wk7 then it cleared up. This is how I guessed I was pregnant before I'd done a test!

Thanks all! It's cleared up today and the bloating has gone down a bit. I feel a lot better too

Hopefully all is well.
