Chances of hearing baby's heartbeat at 14+3?

I've got my second appointment with my midwife coming up, and am really hoping to hear my baby's heartbeat. Has anyone heard it at 14 weeks or earlier, or will I just have to be patient and wait until the New Year? Thanks in advance for any thoughts/experiences

The midwife should be able to hear it, it might take a while to find though.

Good luck!

I heard mine at the booking in appt with the MW - at 11 + 2 weeks. Good luck!!! Don't worry though if the MW can't find it, sometimes they just can't.

Thanks to you both! The GP tried to find heartbeat when I was 12 weeks during an appointment for something non pregnancy-related, but no luck. I'll just have to wait and see!

It can be done as I have a doppler at home and found this baby at 9wks. However it does take patience so depends how patient your mw is.
