My sister is having very strong braxton hicks, 7 mths preg and they are lowering babys heart rate everytime she has them...hospital worried that baby not survive if she has real labour pains etc...possible they may want to do early cesarean....anyone had a similar experience?

My sister is distraught as lives abroad and I can't fly out to be with her as I am pregnant too etc...

Any advice or info would be really appreciated, the hospital don't seem to be giving her many answers or support..

Oh god I know this late but how is your sister and her baby?

If she is 7 months an ECS should be okay, not ideal but babies can pull through!

I had real labour pains and babies heartbeat kept slowing althouvgh I was a week overdue but I had to get an ECS and once it was over I just felt so relieved. I know its not the same but didnt want to leave you unanswered.

I hope you sister and her LO is well whatever happens thinking of you all.

Thanks Mamadiva...my sis and baby seem to be ok, she is going back to docs in 2 weeks when I guess they will see which route to go down..she is still having the contractions..I had been told that an ECS may be an option...my sis is so worried, everyone keeps telling her to relax but of course its really hard for her, plus she doesn't have any family or real friends around, I feel really helpless as can't just jump on a plane, otherwise I'd be there for her tomorrow!!!
