My Body Says "Yes" but the tests say "No"!!!

Ok, last period 19/10. Had definite implant bleed 5/11. Had "stretching" pains in uterus, morning sickness for 2 weeks, have been absolutely exhausted, where I have spent 2 days sleeping on and off, boobs have got darker and veiny, 28 day cycle, period 6 days late. FOUR tets say negative. Waaaaaaaah, I want another one

You might be pregnant but not have enough hormones to show up yet, or else it could be twins and quite often the extra hormones send the tests loopy. Try another test. Good luck!

I had FOUR negative tests with DS1 and finally got a BFP on about day 41/42 of cycle (ie 2ish weeks late). I was so peed off every time I got a negative I downed Pimms and sobbed .

BTW, with DTs I got a BFP on the first test on day 30...

My goodness, twins??!!! Thanks for the info, 34 days since last period. I will have to wait AGAIN and re-test in about a fortnight?

Can you wait that long? I would be going mad.

When I conceived twins it did show up before 6 days late but it can happpen that it doesn't.

No no dont worry, the twins BFP came up straight away, it was DS1's BFP that took forever .

I think (but thenewme could be onto something I don't know about!) that twins will show up as a stronger positive earlier on as there would (I imagine) be more HCG or whatever it is?

I think I would test again in a couple of days btw.

It is driving me nuts!! I have tried expensive tests, very cheap tests and supermarket tests. I just KNOW I am, especially withthe implant bleed which was samewhen pg with DD. Even DH says I am regular as clockwork. I just thought a fortnight might build up the HGC's a bit more. If I had 2 neg's today, is it really worth testing again tomorrow?

What about a free blood test at the doctors?

I think with DS1 I had a neg on the Weds and then tested again on the Saturday and got a positive. Maybe wait til Friday? Or even Thursday????????????

Don't envy you, it is a hideous time having to wait.

Our GP surgery do not do free tests anymore!! They send you away to test, and take your word for it if you are!
