Yellow discharge - ill or pregnant?

At the moment I seem to be having lots of yellow vaginal discharge. It doesn't smell, I'm not itchy or sore or anything. The only reason I've really noticed this is that I haven't had any discharge in months as I'm breastfeeding my nine month old DD2 so it was odd when it suddenly appeared again.
It appeared a couple of days after having sex which was unprotected as I wasn't fertile until over a year with DD1 so I've been assuming the same this time.
Having looked around for answers I can only find information about it being due to a bacterial infection or implantation discharge. I've been quite ill the last few days feeling ill, aching all over and barely able to get up although I feel much better now, something I thought was due to a virus but I'm wondering now if it could be related. Or not.
The only thing I do know is that I definately wasn't pregnant before saturday as my doctor did a test when I went in complaining about hip pain (used to have spd)
