I'm 5 weeks and a couple of days, and have been having aches since before I even missed my period. Not really painful, but on and off every day.

Mostly it feels like the ligaments stretching that you get in late pragnancy (although dobtful if could be that, unless the baby is HUUUUUGE), but occasionaly feels more periody.

I have lso been feeling a bit sick - early I know - but have been feeling icky since before I missed my period as well...hopefully a good sign.

I guess I just want some reassurance from others who have had similar but had healthy pragnancies.

I have never been so sure my period was about to arrive than i did when i was 5-6 weeks pregnant. I had cramps the lot. My little man is now 4 months and fine.

Please try not to worry, i know its hard. Hugs to you

Period-like pain was my main symptom for the first few weeks of my pregnancy, don't worry. I'm now 13 weeks, had a scan last week and baby looks great All the best

Thanks so much, that is exactly what I need to hear.

I'm 20 weeks and have had period pains all the way through including yesterday (a couple of times as bad as period pains!) It still worries me every time though!

I am only 4 weeks and having really bad cramps, i can't for the life of me remember if it was the same for my ds. I remember having some cramps, but these are really painful.
