Can, or is, maternal blood pressure linked to fetal movements?

Just a quicky, for the last week and half the baby has hardly been moving, have had many trips to the hospital for traces and scans and there are more planned, everything seems OK, but my waters are low (think I have a slow leak) anyway, the first day the movements stopped, my BP was suddenly through the floor, it had stayed low until today when the baby has barely stopped moving and my BP is on the rise again - no where near high, but higher than it was, so is this linked? Or am I just looking too hard for an answer and over thinking things?

I've had high bp for both my pregnancies and afaik it has absolutely nothing to do with fetal movements but how hard your heart is working to pump blood around your body. Sorry but I think you are clutching at straws a bit! And if you keep checking your bp you will start to get stressed and it will start to rise....

No, I'm not stressed at all about my BP, it is still lower than at booking in, just higher than it was when the fetal movements stopped, just wondered if there was a link.

It isn't me checking my BP either, they do it everytime I go in, I guess it's procedure?

I have had very high and very low BP at different times in my two pregnancies and I can't say I have noticed any correlation with fetal movements.

Neither of my baby's have moved much anyway. But in both pregnancies I have had an anterior placenta (at the front of teh womb) which can mean you don't feel many movements.

Looks like a no then! I can't say I've ever noticed a link between the two before either, it just seemed odd that this time it fitted together!
