Does anyone else get sicker at 37 weeks?

I've been sick at least once every morning for the last week and remember now that this exact same thing happened with my last pregnancy. In fact both pregnancies have gone exactly the same, extremely bad vomiting from the beginning, easing off a bit at 21 weeks, getting a bit worse again, but mainly stabilising, and then coming on intense at 37 weeks till the end. I know there's no good proven reason for bad morning sickness anyway, but this end of pregnancy sickness just seems like a bad joke.

I know there's no cure or anything, but I was just curious about how common it was.

I had this - had no sickness at all until about week 36. Very odd and a bit of a shock after sailing through without throwing up for 8 months!!

i am 35 weeks and very sick. i was sick at beginning and then it began again in 3rd trimester. it's very normal but very annoying. i find dry cream crackers and cold, fizzy ginger ale helps. being tired makes it worse too. x

I have been getting this - am 38 weeks and had it on and off since week 36. Mentioned it to midwife on Monday and she said that it is to do with hormones that are released as your body prepares itself for labour - a good sign that baby is getting ready to come. I hope so because I am fed up of waiting now.

I am 36 weeks and had really bad sickness until 23 weeks, then disappeared and have started feeling nauseous again a few days ago - not been sick yet though! Didnt have any sickness at all with my first two pregnancies so has been a big shock this time, especially with the other two DCs to look after!
