Right what baby essentials for spring/summer babies??? suddenly feel confused!

I have 2 dds both winter babies, i was going though the store today looking for some baby clothes to pick up and realised that prob many of it is no good! this baby will be a spring baby so will i need a snow/pram suit?
or just babygros and cardi?suddenly i seem to have a brain fog going on

We dressed our end of May baby in babygrows and a thin coat and on colder days just popped him into his cosy toes too when out and about.

depends when in Spring. Mine is due April - have bought a snowsuit but don't expect to get much wear out of it. A couple of thick caridgans and a padded jacket should be fine - as long as you've got plenty of blankets or a coseytoes

I had the same issues this time round as I'd not had a newborn in summer before.

next and marks stock thin cotton jackets that are lightly padded but still soft and these are great IMO

if the summer's as chilly as last year and you plan to use a sling then a thin all in one (fleecy maybe rather than full on snowsuit) could be useful. If you'll not use a sling you can just put blankets over the pram/carseat.

Do buy a couple of thick cardigans while they're in the shops. I had a June baby in 2007 but the weather wasn't great and I found it almost impossible to find something warm for him - luckily a friend's mum is quite handy with the knitting needles!

Thanks thats great baby is due 21st April, so i will pick up a couple of thicker items.I will be using a sling and pram so maybe a thin all in one will be ok.
