Crampy pains/BH like pains at 17 weeks - should I worry?

That's it really. I've been having cramping pains a bit like AF pains or mild braxton hicks this evening. I know that it's too early for BH, although I did have a lot of BH pains from about 24 weeks with DD who was then born at 34+6. Am I worrying about nothing?

I'm 16 weeks and yesterday i was having similar pains. I actually had it with my ds too. Distinctly remember it. In the end it was put down to stretching and went by 20 weeks. If it carries on perhaps give your mw a call.

I'm having these too, midwife said it's round ligaments stretching.

I am 18 weeks.

Also having proper Braxton hicks where my belly goes rock hard and painful to touch, can feel the edges of my uterus - am pg with third, I'm sure I never had them so early before.

I had DS1 at 34+5 and DS2 at 40+6

Hi Swaliswan, another here for getting AF type cramps. 17 weeks tommorow and had them for about a week, they feel very similar to the af type cramps I had in weeks 6 and 9 so I'm presuming they are just strenching pains again (thats what it was last time) HTH

Thanks for the messages, Ladies. I felt a lot better after having a bath and then being kept awake by Bean doing back flips I knew that I should have just posted something on our antenatal thread!
