Can I take anything for diarrhoea while pregnant?

Please tell me I can, I have terrible stomach cramps and pain with it.

Think I have caught it off DD who incidentally is absolutely fine now.

There really isn't anything you can take for diarrhoea even when not pregnant. Its the body's way of getting rid of whatever it is that has invaded your gut. Some of those medications that stop the runs are not good as the bugs aren't eliminated. Best to just keep yourself hydrated but maybe you could have some paracetomol for the pain? Paracetomol is allowed isn't it?
