Could This Mean Anything?

Im 35+2 with DC2. DS was born at 29+5 after my waters broke spontaneously, and so I never experienced the build up to labour, and so this is all new to me!

For the past few days I have been feeling naseous and have a very thick white discharge. I started with cramping yesterday tea-time, but felt like more of a shooting pain across my lower abdomen rather than a pulling feeling which I have read describes more contractions.

The pains have started to come back, feeling like a dull period pain, both front and in my back. Baby has been head down for a good few weeks now, although my MW check last week showed she still wasnt engaged.

I have a growth scan on Tuesday as she has been measuring bigger than average throughout the pregnancy.

The pains are coming and going, but are not regular from what Ive felt so far. I did think Braxton Hicks, but have read that they are not supposed to be painful?

was the discharge mucousy/ snot like?

with the pains etc, is it worth calling labour ward, esp if your waters broke prematurely last time and you had a prem birth. at 35 + 2 you are a lot closer to term though..

are the pains painful? do they die off if you move around?

i would call labour ward based on your history

Thanks lulumama

The discharge is really thick and yes, I can almost say snot like It's white tinged with yellow, and so far I havnt noticed any blood in it.

The pains are very niggly, mild but enough to make me want to grit my teeth. I feel alot of pressure down the front and noticed a couple of days ago that my bump looks like it has dropped, and is quite droopy!

The pains are still there when I walk, yet did die off yesterday when I had a bath.
