With my others it started popping out at around 5/6 months .
I am 12 weeks and have noticed the start of it popping out already !
The midwife commented the other day that I already had quite a bump and I have had a constance sickness and more pg symptons than I had with any of my others.

I am awaiting my scan date and starting to worry it may be twins I never get a bump this early and never feel as crappy as this ,plus we have twins on both sides of the family.

It's not twins is it reassure me .

Hello You sound exactly like me. First time round, didn't show till about 20 weeks and then started feeling kicks. Belly button popped out at about 6 months. This time round, I felt flutterings about 11 weeks and belly button is dropping inside out now (17 weeks) and had to remove belly button ring. No proper kicks yet though as placenta is anterior. I worried about twins too but it's definately not!

my friend's belly button popped out when she was 2 months pg and had a 8.8lb boy

Mine never popped out with dd...
but at 32 weeks with twins it is completely flat....so I am awaiting the pop

My vote is for twins. Were you hoping to even things up with a sixth? That would be another reason to anticipate twins. I used to joke around that the best way to conceive twins was to plan a fourth and then fall pregnant. Surely this rule must also apply with a sixth.

All the best whatever the outcome.

Lol, i think i'm lucky - DP always joked how my "inny" is very deep - this means at 39 weeks pregnant now, it is still an "inny". Granted, a rather stretched one but still!

I sneezed mine out at about 23/24 weeks - it had been in and out depending on how I sat/stood, then I did a big shouty sneeze anf literally felt it ! Not keen on it at all but now 28 weeks and I guess stuck with it?

ilikeyoursleeves · 15/11/2008 19:51

Mine never popped, just kind of went flat!

rrrayray · 15/11/2008 21:50

My belly button is 1/2 out at 30 weeks. I think its a little indecisive! xx

ohdearwhatamess · 15/11/2008 21:57

Mine never did.

babylove123 · 16/11/2008 14:01

Hehe,

Is there anyway of determining whether your baby will end up with an "inny" or an "outie"?!

It's just to do with the way their cord drops off isnt it?
