Hello - I am 37.5 weeks pregnant, and have really bad piles right now (brought on by bad diarrhea at the weekend) and have tried Anusol, and am now using Germoloids ointment. It gives some relief, but they dont seem to be getting any better and I am in agony! I know it is generally not recommended in pregnancy, but has anyone used/been prescribed any of the creams with hydrocortisone at this stage of pregnancy? I keep thinking I will go to my GP, but involves taking the DCs etc so dont really want to bother unless a hydorcortisone cream would be the outcome, so thought I would check here first....help!

can you have a phone call with your GP to save all the hassle of going in?

Yes I did think of that, but wonder if they did phone consultations? I will give them a call in the morning and try that. Wont hurt - more efficient for them if I dont take up a whole appointment slot. Thanks dragonbutter.
