Gonna give us the birth story then? (or are you too tired, bless you!)

ohhh what a nightmare it was!! i had a show at 5.30am on wednesday and was having mild contractions but not regular they were like every 9 mins then 6 mins then 4 etc so i rang del suite & they told me to go in to be checked over but because my contractions werent every 3-4mins i had to go home they said go n hav a bath etc so went home for 2 o clockish wouldnt mind but the hospital is 9 miles away!! so they came regular at around 6pm so made my way back (by the way tens machine really helped at home) got to hosp and i had dilated 5cm so they kept me in. Went on gas n air (how nice!) and i did really well til midnight and then requested some pethidine and that really helped i actually slept between contractions lol then at 2.20am i was in agony and i asked for more pethidine and they said they would break my waters to get things moving and i gave birth at 3.18am with no stitches cos i pushed when told so both me and baby are really well so all those first time mums remember to push when you are told to so you dont tear and i recommend gas and air and pethidine and tens and you will be sorted x

Great birth story! wish I'd pushed when I was told, I just pushed with all my might and baby shot out (and yes, I tore) Glad you and baby are fine, welcome to the world Ryan!
