Hi Everyone, I've been going mad all weekend, I am so paranoid with this pregnancy. I'm 9 weeks now, at 6 weeks I had grown out of my normal jeans, but I don't seem to have got any bigger since then, or put on any weight. Now I've got it in my head the baby has stopped growing. Has this happened to anyone else please?
I'm still having the tiredness and sickness and tender breasts

Have you tried doing a pregnancy test? I am not sure how long the hormone stays in your blood for (trying to find out for myself too, am worried about my cramping).

You had probably grown out of your jeans so early due to water retention and bloating, and nothing at all to do with teh size of the baby.

At this stage, your uterus is still below your pubic bone. You have plenty of pregnancy symptoms so I wouldn't worry.

Try not to worry. It's absolutely normal not to put much weight on in the first trimester- in fact many women lose weight - I losdt about a stone due to morning sickness.

It's a good sign that you still have pregnancy symptoms.

Of course there is never any guarentee with any pregnancy, but I don't see any reason for you to be worried.

Do you have a scan booked?

I don't think a pregnancy test will tell you much at this point.

Hi froggy, i'm sure everything is fine. When you first get pregnant you gain weight from water retention, the baby is so small as that point that it's not showing as such. I'm 14 weeks with no2, at first my jeans were tight but then went down to normal and i lost weight with morning sickness. Only in the past week or two i've started slightly 'showing' again. Try not to worry.

Thank you, I feel a bit better now, I can't wait for my scan in three weeks. I seem to be worrying about everything this time around, it's as if I am pregnant for the first time again!
