[yawns]

baby is fully engaged now. in prime position for giving birth.

am having little contractions, not strong enough to get things moving, but enough to keep the little one in position. am hoping she stays where she is, and decides to get a move on pretty darned quick, and isnt just hanmging around there for one evening only.

have to go to drop in clinic tomorrow to drop off wee sample if nothing happens overnight.

what can i do (if anything) to move things along?

cos i'm feeling fed up with it now. this has been going on and off for two weeks now.

Uphill walking - did me good to get some contractions going. Am 39 weeks and have been having the same niggles as you since 37.5 weeks - getting seriously p'd off now! Am on the raspberry leaf tea (yuk) but although it gets baby going - does nothing for the contractions!

Found the birthing ball helps to get some more niggles but other than that i'm stumped.

My midwife told me at 37 weeks that i would be in established labour in a couple of days (my contractions were that frequent and strong) - im now 39 weeks!!! ARGH! Getting sick of it all!

Clarysage - not heard of that. Might ask the local herbalist 2morro if there is anything i can take to get it going!
