hi 24 wks and getting braxton hicks contractions a lot throughout the day, not painful just uncomfortable, they dont last long but i seem to get them often, does anyone else get these? it is not a sign of early labour is it, help?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

no, they are not a sign of early labour. i had them from about that time w/DD and gave birth at 38 weeks, 3 days after going into labour naturally. the midwife said they can come on earlier in first pregnancies b/c the body is practicing for s/thing it's never done before.

it's kind of cool to see the bump go hard like that.

I got regular braxton hicks from around 20 weeks, during both my pregnancies.
Ds1 arrived on his due date & ds2 arrived a week early!
I wouldn't worry about them!

I had them for about 10 weeks or so prior to giving birth. DS came 5 days late. My B-H contractions were very convincing and very regular, too. I wouldn't worry about it either.
