Hi Latatele it could just be muscles stretching or it could be that you are constipated. If you are still worried in the morning see if you can get yourself booked into the Early Pregnancy Assesment Unit at your local hospital. Try not to worry and try a cup of tea and a hot water bottle - that might get bowels moving a bit if its that.

Your body goes under so many changes in early pregnancy so could be normal please try not to worry.

If it's any help, I was in lots of pain when I was between 6-10 weeks gone. I ended up at the doctors (on my birthday, not a good day) as I'd spent the night before and most of that day in pain, mainly down my right side. Turns out there was nothing wrong, just things stretching and growing. I'm now 21 weeks and everything so far is fine. I would say don't worry, but that's not easy!
I think the one thing that's surprised me most about being pregnant, the thing no-one ever tells you about, is that it bloody hurts! Hope everything turns out well for you.

Try not to worry, although I know its hard not too...
I had bad stretching/pulling/tugging type pains at about 8weeks.
I called the Early Pregnancy unit at my hospital who were fantastic, saw me near enough straight away and gave me an early scan for my peace of mind - Baby was fine.
Sometimes I still get those sorts of pains & its just my body adapting/growing... & im nearly 27 weeks now.
hope its eased off by now & you can get checked over today

Hi Lalatele.

Hugs to you, also had m/c this year, now just found out am pg again. The next few weeks stretch out like eternity and every twinge means panic, every time I walk I'm worried it's going to fall out of me! Last night had cheese quich-y thing, then woke up with pain at 3am. 20 mins and fairly severe bathroom visit later was fine. It really is a nightmare.

Doctor has given me magnesium - sachet to take every day in water. He said it "calms the uterus" so less pain and apparently calms you as well. Will be having double on my cornflakes if it does all that!

Going to start a new thread now on how people deal with this bit....first trimester that is, not cheese quiche....

newb, sorry to hear you did not sleep well last night,...well i have been on my early scan this am...after 2 hours wait, this is what i've been told: officially i am 7 weeks, but according to the scan, am only 5 weeks..i also had low hcg levels...but everything looks normal for a 5 weeks pregnancy, ectopic ruled out, etc...been told to come back in 2 weeks...i am now worried that the baby hasn't grown as it should have!! please anyone reassure...
the other thing you may want to know is that i had my period on the 19th of september, normally 32/33 day cycle...i had decided to take the pill from that day as did not want to fall pregnant (too busy right now)...so took pill for one week, which made me feeel very sick with diarrheoa so after 1 week stopped taking it...which lead to bleeding again...
I think conceived on the 10th of october...did the pill affect anything?
advice please!!!

Hope you are ok this morn
