Hello

Before I start, I am NOT complaining, far from it .

My baby has been doing what feels like a full work out ALL day . Just wanted to know if others are getting a similar amount of movement at 21ish weeks.?

BTW, I've just started eating again (only today) after a vomiting bug and not eating at all for 24plus hours so wondering if thats why the baby is so active...

i have heard that babys stop moving so much when you are ill to give you time to recuperate so am sure that is why

GYo · 06/11/2008 17:21

ooh I suppose it did stop moving but I was asleep a lot either way is making up for it now!

I've called my thumper - moves alot in the evening while watching TV and 5am . I'm 21 weeks too - DD never moved this much.

Love the name of thumper... mine usually moves at those times but been merrily doing star jumps all day today!

yep, GYO, loads and loads - it's because they still have lots of room to cavort round!

21 weeks here too and little one is going mad today!
I had scan today, so I am putting it down to that
Its a lovely feeling, but not at 11pm when I am trying to sleep!

Mine's been hyper since about 18 weeks! Seems to have calmed down a bit now (am 24 weeks) so perhaps finding it a bit more of a squeeze in there. I'm only little after all!

GYo · 07/11/2008 08:33

mine carried all for all of yesterday non stop and most of the evening before sleep. Then as soon as I was awake again this morning. In fact the only thing that calms it down is my DH putting his hand on it - bit of a joke now in my house

am 24 weeks tomorrow, and bean moves about all the time - sometimes has a break in the afternoon before gearing up for an evening's aerobics workout. And it likes an early start as well - it's been moving from around 4am over the past few nights. Not great for my sleep, but I imagine it's a healthy sign.

and to think i was worried at 20 weeks that I couldn't feel anything...
