Bright red spotting.. normal?

I'm 37+5 today & I just went to the bathroom & realised I'm experiencing some bright red spotting. It's not heavy at all, but it still freaked me out a bit. I never had any kind of bleeding during my first pregnancy & so far during this pregnancy I've only ever had slight brown spotting, which I know is usually ok because brown blood is old blood. Anyway, I was just wondering whether this was normal or whether I should ring the delivery suite. I'm not in any pain or anything, & I don't want to seem like a crazy paranoid pregnant woman!

I'm sure you'll both be fine, but phone the delivery suite / your midwife straight away, just to be on the safe side.

I think you should phone the experts and see what they say!

It may be a show? If it was me I'd ring the hospital just in case, they may want to check you. Good luck!

This happened to me first time round. When I saw a doctor at the hospital she said she was convinced it was a show. If its not heavy a show does sound likely.
