I was just thinking the same thing!Last time I wore size 8 jeans up until at least 5 months. Not sure I look pregnant though, maybe just a bit fat!

MissyK · 05/11/2008 08:30

Morning Ladies, let me join in!!
I was in size 8/10 regular clothes at 6 months last time, this time though at 14+5 I am almost as big as I was at 8/9 months with ds. There is no way I can fit into anythng non manternity & all my friends assumed I was a lot further gone then I am but had kept it secret really well.. No such luck!!
Though the bump does help to support my book
Are either of you a lot more tired this time around, I'm sure I am , but then ds is turning 4 next week & VERY active..

mmmcheese · 05/11/2008 08:38

Im exhausted , my dd is 3 and doesn't do naps anymore.I have been feeling so sick with this one too up until this week.Im just over 13 weeks now.Havn't told work yet but it must be soooo obvious! When are you telling work?

FruitynNutty · 05/11/2008 08:42

I'm so pleased I'm not alone. I was massive at 7 weeks with this one. Didn't even have a bump until around 20 weeks with DS.

I'm now 20 weeks and absolutely huge. People say "you're very neat" then I tell them I'm only 20 weeks and they nearly fall over with shock.
I know I've put weight on but my belly is particularly big compared to the rest of my body

Ah well, can't complain, we tried very hard for this baby so I must count my lucky stars and stop complaining about being pregnant

dinkystinky · 05/11/2008 08:49

Ladies - am 25 weeks and look full term already with this one! Only got a bump at around 20 weeks with no 1 so a bit of a shock to the system.... though have only put on just under a stone so far (put on 31/2 with DS) so god only knows how huge am going to be when full term.

Told work at 16 weeks - amazingly only 2 people had already guessed...

prada · 05/11/2008 08:56

i'm 36 weeks with 2nd and have been much bigger from the start but weight gain wise about the same as with ds, bump is huge, like i'm going to pop!

also much more tired this time round, combo of working part time, looking after an active toddler and being over 35!!

i started taking spatone with OJ at 24 weeks and really helped boost my energy levels although nowadays all i just need serious r&r!....

breaghsmum · 05/11/2008 17:51

i am totally the opposite!!! i'll be 12 weeks tomorrow and NOTHING!!!! its actually making me doubt if i am even pregnant. last time at this stage i cud hardly button up any of my trousers, this is my 2nd aswell and everyone says i should be larger than last time. it just aint happening!!!

swottybetty · 05/11/2008 20:28

glad i'm not alone. tell you what i do like tho is having decent boobs back. i never thought they'd be firm again!

I'm the same - people at worked were shocked last time when I told them, and that was at 20 wks, but have had 2 people ask me if I am this time at 8 weeks... Still at my pre-pg weight so it is all just on the belly but god knows why given were still talking a smaller than kidney bean size thing here!

YoureInMySystemBaby · 07/11/2008 17:24

I'm nearly 21 weeks pregnant with my second little boy and I'm about as I big as I was with DS1 at about 30 weeks.

I feel absolutely huge, I was in maternity trousers at 12 weeks and I felt like I was being sliced in half wearing my normal clothes.

I was straight back into size 10 jeans the day after having DS1 - so much so that the nurses asked me who I was visiting after returning from buying some magazines from the shop in the hospital. I also wore size 10 jeans til around my 6th month..

I'm praying my stomach deflates just as quickly as it did thr first time - though obviously I had to tuck in the floppy spare stuff that was left over - but nothing some control pants can't fix when I wanna don my skinny jeans :D

swottybetty · 07/11/2008 19:21

in size ten jeans day after birth

after having dd i spent all my "spare" time in gym and picked at only far free wheat free morsels just so i could get back to only-ten-pounds-heavier than i was before. i swore next preg i would not stuff face and would excercise reg throughout .... yeh right! been stuffing my face more than ever and how can you work out when you're this tired...?

OH NO, I'm so nervous! I'm not yet 6 wks with no. 2 and have just landed a dream job... (see going back to work forum- the decision was horrendous!) I don't want to tell them until the last possible moment but if I'm exploding before I even start... oh how embarrassing! You can't do sit-ups during early pregnancy, can you?

PoppyField · 10/11/2008 22:05

I just want people to know that I've never fitted into a pair of size 10 jeans. xx
