31 weeks and my 'quiet' baby has gone crazy the last couple of days

in fact she hasn't stopped moving. Luckily she's only doing her aerobics during the day (like me she must love her sleep -here's hoping). Anyway jsut wondering, when do I need to start noting her movements? Any experienced mumsnetters out there who know?

if she's moving all the time then you don't need to note her movements

it's only if she stops moving for any length of time that you need to worry! if that happens, then you can usually get the baby moving again by drinking a long cold drink. if she goes quiet again and you are at all worried then contact your midwife.

I remember being told to keep a note of 10 kicks a day or something like that with my first. Now I am 35 weeks with my 2nd no one has mentioned anything like that at all, they just ask "is the baby active?" - yes definitely!

lucky you she doesn't keep you awake at night - make the most of it while you can!

They have changed the policy on this, now they don't suggest you note movements at all, but if movements stop and are not started again by a long, cold, sugary drink you should head in to the hospital to be checked over.

moving is good!

it's just not moving that isn't so good (and even then it can be because they are sleeping etc)
