Flying late in pregnacy

Has anyone any experience of flying short haul later on in pregnancy? I have just found out I am pregnant and we have already booked and paid for our holiday next year. I will be 33 weeks when we are due to fly and 35 on way home.

Thomson are saying I can fly before 36 weeks with a doctors note but I am struggling to find a company that will insure me for the holiday.

Any advice greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It is unlikely any insurance company will take you on. I struggled to get anyone flying home at 33 weeks. May be have a look at moneysupermarket.com and see if they know of anyone.

Thanks, that would be great. I think I am going to have to phone a few and see what they say. DP is now thinking that we are mad to still go and that I will be awful and uncomfortable - what was it like for you 2beautifulgalsandabean?
