Sorry to be sooo stupid

Not sure exactly how it is defined but there is an area on back of the neck of a foetus the thickness of which can be measured by ultrasound between 11 and 13 wks of pg. This measurement is used to assess statistical risk of the baby having Downs compared to the statistical risk based purely upon mother's age.
