Hi all.

I'm 36 weeks pregnant.

I had a really bad head cold and a bit of a cough about a month ago. It only lasted for a few days, but the coldy / bunged up symptoms and general feeling of grimness lasted for nearly 3 weeks (never had such a long lasting cold).

I've had about a week of feeling better (although I seem to get a strange feverish feeling in the evenings). Anyway, today I have developed a dry, chesty cough and have started to feel a bit grim again. Is it worth going to the doctor's? Will they give me anti-b's at this stage? Or shall I just wrap up warm and rest and hope it passes?

i had soooo many colds the first time i was pg (current count with this pregnancy is 2 so far....but it's early days!)...they were long ones too...sympathy cos it sucks!
if you are feeling really horrid-like you might have a chest infection or something- then see your doc
if it's just regular coldy grimness have some paracetemol/honey and lemon/wrap up warm and get plenty of rest
hope you feel better soon!
