HEAD ENGAGED (confused)

Hi i went for my 38 week check up today and i am 2-3/5ths engaged, does this mean its going to take ages for baby to come yet, i am confused in thinking he can come anytime now yet he isnt fully engaged?

It just means your baby is heading in the right direction. Labour could be tomorrow, could be anytime in the next 5 weeks.....

could be any time, both of mine were born at 40 weeks - I went for a check up a couple of days before i went in to labour with my first and his head wasn't engaged - my second was engaged from 34 weeks so it doesn't really make a difference. Good Luck!

hi, i'm 39+6 weeks, in lament labour with babys head 3/5 engaged. it has been like this since sunday night, so i am not hoping for much, seeing as on the day before she was only 2/5 engaged???
