Hi There,

Just wondered if there are any older mums out there in the above area who are expecting their 1st babies next April/May?

I have just turned 39 and am due on May 1st.

Hope you are all doing well and it would be lovely to hear from any of you so we can keep in touch throughout our pregnancies and 'compare notes' !!

take care

Hi Mummymoss - I'm only 10wks at the mo, so haven't decided for definite - probably the Alexandra Unit at Watford, but possibly a homebirth

Only made it to 11+4 - very sudden, scary and messy mc on Tuesday

Hope all is still well with you

Hi Jools1,

Sorry 2 hear of yr sad news and apologies that I have only just replied but I havent been on this site for ages.

My thoughts are with u during this v. difficult time. I went through it myself last year so I know what yr going through. Just 2 let u know that although it seems like u never will feel better I promise u it does get better as time goes by and try not to give up hope as it took us a while but we did fall pregnant again.

Good luck and please email anytime u need a shoulder.

take care.
