Does anyone else find it hard to concentrate whilst pregnant?

I am expecting number 2 but only 6 weeks. I am an avid reader and like to get stuck into quite challenging literature. Since the moment I found out I haven't picked up my book.

All I want to do is watch crap TV or go on mumsnet (not that there is anything wrong with that!)

Oh the baby is totally eating my brain! I'm only 4+6 but its like I look at my husband and am all, who are you again?

Its really bad when I'm at work since they don't know yet that I'm pregnant!

I keep using the wrong words for things or being completely unable to think of the word I need - it's a bit like when you are quite drunk and you forget what you are saying half way through...

And I just went out to the kitchen to get a glass of water, and found the soup I'd put onto heat up over an hour ago boiling away on the stove, miraculously not on fire

No - it all goes to pot and takes ages to come back to normal too.
