Sorry for the tenuous link to pregnancy here but I am going mad trying to find plain, unpatterned white curtains for the nursery. Has anyone seen any for sale???

I want to buy plain white ones then sew some leaves on to go with the other accessories, I can't make curtains from scratch as I dont own nor do I know how to use a sewing machine!!

Any ideas???

elibumbum · 21/10/2008 21:47

Dunelm might have some ready made white curtains. Have you tried Ikea?

MadameCastafiore · 21/10/2008 21:48

Just make sure you invest in a blackout blind and some extra strong blackout material to line them with!

Honeymoonmummy · 21/10/2008 21:59

I've got the blackout linings, I just need the curtains!! Can't believe how hard it is to find some!! I've looked at Dunelm and Ikea, will check B & Q thanks...

Ikea do plain white curtains, don't know what size you need but:

www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/80114781

You can't buy them online though, so would need a local store.

There are a couple of different types for sale on ebay as well:

I've just found some that will do the trick nicely and are really cheap, see link. Thanks for all your help though!!

Aww bless you, I'm sure they look lovely, and he won't even notice... my poor baby is having to make do with his whole nursery set second hand from ebay and utterly mismatched carpets/curtains/walls throughout the flat (and she'll be damn well grateful too!)
