OK, I'm 35 weeks pregnant now and thinking maybe I should get one of these together in the next week or two.
I'm attempting a VBAC, but it obviously need to think about what I'll need if I end up having a c-section, too. My mind is blank.

Any suggestions?

don't know about CS but my hospital bag had nightdresses/pyjamas (with easy access for breastfeeding), sleepsuits for baby, nappies, breast pads, maternity pads, knickers, clothes for going home, hat for baby (husband had to buy as it was suggested we should keep babys head warm!), wash bag, arnica. Can't think of anything else.

a couple of muslins are always handy to have around too!

if you have a c-section, nighties rather than pjs at least for the first night, because of the catheter.
And just generally a few more clothes for you and the baby, extra nappies etc because of a slightly longer hospital stay.

Food supply. Lots of fruit and flapjacks!

I stayed 3 days and wore the same XL t-shirt when leaving bed, baby was mainly swaddled in a hospital towel, and there were pads, nappies etc on the trolley with baby's perspex box on top, so only really used my toothbrush, hairbrush, and wore the clothes I'd come in to go home. It was too hot for clothes in my bed - made feeding easier, too.
