Hi
ok this is a bit embarrassing but it has to be done... last week I had quite sore piles (39 weeks) MW advised me to use germaloid cream which took the pain away really well.

I am not constipated as I am using figregel (sp?)

Today I have noticed a lumpy feeling inside but there is absolutely no pain even when I go to the toilet - I can just feel it 'there' if that makes sense.

I have had piles before and they have always hurt so this is a new experience for me... does it mean they are healing?

Mine come and go in their severity (I use Senacot Max Strength every day otherwise I would be constipated) and when they are small they do feel "lumpy".

Just keep using the germaloid cream

they won't heal up until after baby is born.

i've got my cortisone creme lined up for after the birth!

ice packs really help reduce the swelling for now.

You can get prescription only cream from your doc, sorry cannot remember the name but it is a miracle cream. The bumps you feel are probably internal piles which are there to stay as expat says. Suppositories will help.
Oh charming thing pregnancy.

They sound internal , nuclear. Will settle after the birth though!
