12 week scan freebies- a quick question

A friend of mine is doing a bit of research as to what publications pregnant women receive.

Have any of you received the following from your midwife, GP or healthcare professional at the TWELVE WEEK scan

1. Emma?s Diary?
2. Mum Plus One?
3. You and Your Family?
4. Bounty Pack?

i received emmas diary at my first drs appointment when i told them i were pregnant.
remember receiving bounty pack in hospital when both children were born. il let you know when i have my 12 weeks scan what i get.

I recieved those things at my first midwife appointment but not at the scan.

I got Emma's Diary (useless and pathetic) at my clinic immedicatly I found I was pregnant. The Bounty Pack voucher was in it, I think, so collected that shortly afterwards.

Never heard of 2 and 3

got nothing at all in the way of freebies. Think I might have been missed out by accident though?

Didnt get anything at my scan except the photo! The midwife gave me a pack when I went for my booking in appointment at 10 weeks that had Emmas diary and a bounty pack leaflet in.

I have never been given anything. I wouldn't mind knowing where to get a voucher for the first bounty pack. Having looked at their website it just says you get it from your midwife but mine has never given me one. I haven't even heard of any of the others.

Got the Bounty pack from the MW at booking in, but no Emma's diary - sounds like that is no loss though !

I redeemed the voucher for the mum-to-be pack in Boots yesterday - what a waste of time I was kinda expecting a few free samples of nice preggie mummy stuff like stretch mark cream - the Persil tablet and single newborn nappy didn't really impress !

I only reveived the bounty pack, that was 3 years ago!

I think I got them all, except Emma's Diary which I refused as I've had it before and she is so annoying!

At my 12 week scan there was a massive notice up by the sonographer's desk saying "Would you PLEASE try to remember to give out the bounty packs."

i didnt get given anything at my 12 week scan no.

Got 1 and 4 with ds1 and offered both with ds2. Can't remember when exactly. Like others thought they might be interesting or at least have some good freebies first time round. Were in fact waste of resourses printing / distributing etc...... Refused them with ds2. Not been offered either with dc3 yet. Am 16 weeks.

2. Mum Plus One?- No Never heard of it
3. You and Your Family?- No Never heard of it
4. Bounty Pack?- No it is Given at babies Birth around here (Durham)

Bounty pack only. Which is a total waste of the planet's scarce resources. Never even heard of numbers 2 and 3.

1. Emma?s Diary? No - not for either, but picked one up in Hospital at 40 weeks and threw in bin shortly after
2. Mum Plus One? Never heard of it
3. You and Your Family? Never heard of it
4. Bounty Pack? Got this after birth of both DCs - the bottles of Comfort are still in the cupboard as I may use them one day

Got Emmas diary when confirmed pregnancy at docs, and bounty pack at booking in apt but never heard of 2 & 3...

I got the bounty pack at one of my scans with dd (4 years ago) but have a feeling it was my 20 week scan. NOthing else though.

This time round I have had nothing. But haven't had 20 week scan yet.

Asctually - Yomellamohelly - we're at the same hospital I think as we were on a thread before so must be 'policy'.

got 1 at the booking in appointment with the midwife, 2 and 4 at the 12 week scan, but havent heard of 3.

Got 1. at first midwife first time round; thought it was crap. Had mmc that time so nothing at 12 week scan which was when I found out had mc'd so not surprising. Did not get second time, but didn't want. Never heard of middle two. Asked at 20 week scan for bounty pack but would not have bothered as threw all away except for tiny sudocrem cos cute, and wipes to keep in car!! Agree with above that waste of resources!

Got none boo hoo - i feel like i'm missing out... maybe i'll get lots of stuff at the 20 week scan

I didn't get given any of those things, but did get a book called pregnancy and you at my booking appt.

Whats a bounty pack? I keep hearing about them.
