pin prick blood spots on hand & arm - not fading, what is it?

I got this at around 4 months but thought it would fade pretty quick, but no sign of that so far. They are blood red, tiny pin pricks on my hand (just one hand, not both!) which are concentrated on the back of my hand but go up to my elbow on one side of my arm. It's most strange. Any ideas what this is and how I can get rid of it?

I'm 29 weeks now btw.

it's the extra pressure of the baby on your circulation, i would think - same thing that causes thread veins/varicose veins in pregnancy

i developed some strange red dots above one of my eyebrows when i was pregnant, and used to put concealer on them, as they looked very odd. they didn't go away until a few weeks after i had DD
