Does anyone know if your cervic sits low or high when pregnant?

Im just curious as my friend has an internal scan today and the doctor said her cervic is sitting quite low. is this normal?

It is low to start with and will rise at different times i had this as well its very normal.

I should add it will rise at differnt times in differnt women! doh!!
