I've bought DD (9) a polly pocket set and DS (4) some Disney Cars (thanks misdee!!)

DH thinks I'm weird cos I've (a) bought them nad (b) wrapped them up and put them in the hospital bag

I think its nice! I bought DD something from DS when he was born too

Ds got dd 4 at the time a cinderella dress, shoes, wand etc her face said it all.

She has well outgrown them, but i will never give them away. too many memories if only her face alone.

I will be buying a present for the the kids from the baby. I'm worried about my oldest being jealous when the baby comes along so hopeully this will help.

Am buying garage for DS from his D Sister...he's 2.7 and started asking for it just after his 2nd b'day...at the time I told him that maybe his baby will bring it for him when she comes cos she loves her brother v.much...now baby is due in 10 days and the garage is sold out in Saudi, where we live...[panic]...fingers crossed though, DH best friend lives in Dubai and is coming this week...he's on the case! I've learnt to be more careful about what I say!

DS will be nine when DC2 arrives, so I'm not going to con him with the idea of a pressie from the baby - but I probably will get him something after the baby is born because I know the adjustment to having a little sibling is going to be massive after being an only for so long. I'll let him and DH decide if they want to get a pressie for the baby. I hope a few sweets when he visits babe for first time in hospital will be enough to soften the experience. He's actually very excited about the baby and I think this is a big enough present in itself, especially for a child of his age.
