Had scan yesterday and saw it on the paperwork - don't know what it means? (not worried)

Also - was 12+1 when baby was scanned and crown rump length was 6.1cm - is that quite long? All the websites say different things so am quite confused...

First timer so a bit clueless - sorry!

1.6m is nothing to worry about at all - mine was 1.9 and we had a 1:50,000 chance so you're doing better than me

Google nuchal fold measurement or something and there is a realyl good site (babyworld? babysites?) that gives you pictures and measurements with their degree of worryingness attached...

Hi Bicnod I just had my nuchal scan today. I got given a little chart that shows what's a normal nuchal measurement vs crown-rump length. Chart is very tiny but from what I can see 1.6mm vs crl of 6.1mm is bang on normal, so no need to worry at all!

There is also a graph of crl against gestation, again it's printed small but seems 6.1cm is well within the normal range for 12+1, perhaps slightly above the mean line.

Mine was 1.1mm vs crl of 4.6cm (am 11+3)which is totally normal - very pleased as am 37. Waiting for bloods tomorrow - fingers crossed! (though sonographer said the scan is most reliable)
