Do you still get those crampy pains that are really just your uterus stretching but freak the bejesus out of you when you're pregnant with your second child?

?

Should I be worried about mild cramping?

It was the bane of my first trimester last time, convinced I was miscarrying for 12 weeks.

Surely my uterus stretched enough last time?

i have had them all 3 times , 3 babies.

Nemoandthefishes · 14/10/2008 13:54

you do get them again and tend to be more aware of them. I just found out am pg with no.4[7th pregnancy] and can feel every ache and pain and on constant paranoia

Olihan · 14/10/2008 13:55

I had them with all 3 of my pgs too, no mcs either.

Phew! I've been so unsure about this pregnancy, despite getting two positive tests, because I've had some bleeding. Keep thinking I'm going to miscarry. And then these mild crampy type pains pop up every now and then, not getting stronger or anything like that, but they're freaking me out again. Oh well, I won't give up hope just yet.

Yes I had them worse this time too (second pregnancy). Had bleeding too with my first and all was fine. I know what you mean about the worry though!

MrsMattie · 14/10/2008 14:04

I have had this both times, mainly during the first trimester and beginning of 2nd trimester. Also had a bleed with my 2nd pregnancy, but am 34 weeks pregnant now and all going fine.

HeadFairy · 14/10/2008 14:06

My sister was trying to reassure me that bleeding was fine so long as I didn't get cramping which increased in intensity.

am on my third and still getting them really badly.... and still having a nervous breakdown each time i do! am 24 weeks and mine always seem to get worse as the preg progresses not better so have a few months of them to brace myself for

ajm200 · 14/10/2008 14:14

Yes.. and the BH's are worse too.

MrsMattie · 14/10/2008 14:18

I didn't even have BH with my first pregnancy. Have had them since 22 weeks with this one and am constantly nudging DH in the night to worry him with 'am I going into labour?' gripes.

HeadFairy · 14/10/2008 16:14

Oh dear, looks like another stressful few months ahead. I didn't get any bh with ds. I'm a bit of a wimp really, any kind of twinge and I'm convinced it's disaster.
