I have had this on and off since Sunday. Sorryy, TMI, but when the discharge appears there's a lot of it and it's very thick and mucousy. It's also a brownish colour. I am really worried because I have had two miscarriages, one very recently.
I spoke to a midwife yesterday an she said it sounded like 'old blood' and to keep an eye on it, but it has happened since, albeit not ever time. Sometimes I feel a little crampy, but very little.
Can anyone offer any words of wisdom/comfort?

does it need to be either if you're wrong?

Can I just ask- I also noticed brown blood in my knickers yesterday. Not much at all. I had been for a scan last week and everything was fine but they did say that I might experience some bleeding (they noticed an area of blood underneath the baby). I dint panic because they told me to expect some, but I am due to go back next week for a scan to make sure all is ok. Should I call the midwife and let her know?

no harm in calling but I should think it's nothing to worry about.

Good Luck, Gateau!
Thank you for posting on my thread this morning. I saw the Dr who said everything should be ok. If I had any bleeding over the course of the next 24hrs, then I was to go back to see him. Can't say my mind has been eased much. Am going to look into a provate scan after my holiday.
All the best for your scan.

hope things went well, gateau.

Echoing Aitch's thoughts.

Fingers still crossed.
