Suspected pregnancy related diabetes can anyone offer advice

I have been suffering from intenxe migraines and am constantly thirsty. I have been to see the GP who is arranging a series of blood tests to chech for diabetes can anyone offer any advice?

How pg are you? Are you having the glucose intolerance tests? Im 31wks and have gestational diabetes atm.

I am 13 weeks at the moment, i am having a random test next week. But due to my age and pre pregnancy weight i am apparently in a higher risk category.

at 13 weeks it's unlikely to be gestational diabetes. i have never heard of migraines being a symptom, but extreme thirst is. did the dr do a random glucose test? if you look at the diabetes uk website there's lots of stuff there.

i have pre-exisiting diabetes, & am also pregnant. it's a pain in the arse but totally livable with. hope you find out soon.
