I am 35 weeks pregnant, I have just got up this morning, and felt a bit 'damp' and when I wiped had a big blob of mucus. I am pretty sure it is not a show, this is my third pregnancy and when I have had a show before it was more clear and jelly like, this was more 'snot like' really sorry a bit much for this time in the morning i know!
Thanks

it could be a show, but that does not neccesarily mean you are about to go into labour, a show can be quite snot like

heavier discharge in later pregnancy is normal, if you get any leakage/ water discharge or anything gushes or you get bloody mucus, then give labour ward a ring, and if you start getting any pains..

Thanks lulumama - with my previous 2 pregnancies my waters didn't break, i had to have them broken so I have never experienced that. This was not tinged with blood at all. I don't know why but I have got it into my head that this baby was going to be early, it is breech at the moment as well.....so I hope it's going to hang on at least til monday when i see my midwife!

your show might happen over a few days or even longer. so unless you get an contractions or waters leaking /gushing, i would try to potter around and not worry too much, you are full term at 37 weeks, which is not far away.

I have been getting braxton hicks in the last few days, but I know that doesn't necessarily mean anything.
Will try and keep myself occupied with other things!

if you are worried, then do call midwife for reassurance.
