I am 20 weeks with DC3 and all going well so far. Scan tomorrow very excited. Reason for my post is tonite sat watching tele I started to feel dizzy. I wasn't moving, hadn't stood up quick, just the room span a bit.

Still feeling wobbly, sat here in a bit of a daze - would liken it to having that one glass of wine that tips you from sober to tipsy.....drinking some water in case i am dehydrated...

any clues? anyone else had this?

Your blood pressure can drop in the second trimester of pregnancy due to hormonal effects. I would mention it to your midwife at the next visit or if that is too far away and this persists then pop along to the GP for a check up.

i was hospitalised for a about a week with vertigo (same thingish) at 20 weeks (am now 28 weeks) not much they can do really - could be an inner ear thing, could be low blood pressure, could be anaemia, could be anything! Tell your docs, but don't hold your breath for a magical solution.

I had low blood pressure a little earlier on in my pg (moving house, nasty gazundering buyer have sorted it all out though...no more symptoms)and had that same dizziness. I also got tunnel vision and slight headache if I stood up quickly.
Can you get your MW to take your BP anytime soon? Just to set your mind at rest?
