7 weeks - banging headache-normal?

I am seven weeks pregnant and my head has been pounding for the last couple of days. I've been sick this morning but eating ginger is helping with that.
Am I just being over the top or are headaches normal? x

normal, its to do with the extra blood flow.

Yup the headaches are normal I have one at the moment too! In my case it's always a very particular type headache, different to the ones I normally get, is it the same with you? I think they stopped around 12 weeks when I was expecting DD.

I also had the same headaches a few times in the first weeks post partum, I didn't expect it, but I suppose that must be normal too.

I had headaches all the way through my pg with dd1. I was eventually signed off due to them. Apparently I was alergic to the pg hormone.

have you suddenly stopped drinking drinks with caffiene? I think caffiene withdrawel can cause headaches.

I'm finding that I'm not drinking very much fluid because of nausea - dehydration causes headaches, so it might be worth checking you are drinking enough?

Thanks, I am drinking loads to compensate for my sickness, but the headache is constant. Am back to drs Friday so will check it out. My blood pressure was high as the babys father is being a cock so might be linked....thanks everyone....xxxxxx
