20 weeks and feeling faint!

I'm 20 weeks and have had a couple of spells of feeling really faint this morning. The midwife is fully booked today (although they have a blood pressure machine in the waiting room and they've told me to come in and use that). I have been eating chocolate and trying to keep still but am at work (and need to get home somehow too so resting isn't an option yet). Anyone else had this?

hi bumping for you

were you too hot or hungry?

I had attacks of feeling faint and a bit nauseous nw and again with my first preg. That as due to low blood pressure. Not bad enough to do anything about tho. I just carried a little bottle of cold water with me which seemed to help when I came over queer!

Thanks Gem. I think I was hot AND hungry which didn't help - I ate something, put my feet up and felt fine a little while later. Good excuse to skive off a bit early!

I had low blood pressure in my pregnancies and felt faint a lot of the time. I just had to make sure I kept my fluids up - I don't think there is a lot anyone can do.

Of course lying down does help a lot !!!!!
